Lake Toho Big Bass Challenge

Fan-favorite tournament series is back! 

Designed for family-friendly competition, the 2022 season of the Strike King Big Bass Challenge kicked off this weekend in Florida with more payouts and greater opportunities to win.

The first event of the year on Lake Toho was met by a host of anglers of all ages and skill-levels willing to brave air temperatures in the mid 30’s and 15-20 mph winds. Florida bass don’t respond well to cold fronts and wind, but our anglers still managed to bring fish to the scales and walk away with money in their pockets. One of the greatest elements of the Strike King Big Bass Challenge is that anglers don’t need a giant fish to get paid, as any keeper brought to the scales enters an angler into a prize drawing. Our next Big Bass Challenge will be March 27^th on Lake Cumberland in Burnside, Kentucky. The first 100 to pre-register will receive a Lew’s/Strike King gift card. We encourage all anglers to sign up on the Strike King website and come fish with us!

First Place Overall

Silva's catch weighing in at 4.86 lbs. 

A local man by the name of Charles Silva wins the Strike King Big Bass Challenge with his first catch using a white Thunder Cricket. Silva walked away with a $1,500 payout, $5,000 Lew’s/Strike King gift cards, and a Mammoth Ranger 45 cooler.

Isidoro De La Paz, Jim Miller, Dan Fay, and Doug Ramsay each walked away with a cash bonus from Black Rifle Coffee Co. During each of the 4 periods, the highest finishing angler that is also subscribed to the BRCC Coffee Club walked away with an additional $250 cash from BRCC.
