Oklahoma native Jason Christie launched his tournament career fishing with his uncles and his father. His big break came October 2007 when he won a Stren Series event on Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. He knew that victory would help pave the way to fish against the elites of the sport! Years later, with 29 Bassmaster Elite Series Top Ten finishes to his name, Christie continues to dominate. In March of 2022, Christie walked away Bassmaster Classic Champion with a three-day total of 54 pounds. Aside from his hard fought Classic Championship, Jason Christie can another rare achievement in professional bass fishing: he won back-to-back FLW Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series events in 2013.
