Lew’s Introduces TP1X Series of Rods

Lew’s has taken the original TP1 and stepped up the level even higher, while keeping the price point the same.

Anytime an angler can get a high quality, performance fishing rod in the $100 range, they have accomplished something. When Lew’s first introduced the TP1 series, it fit all of those benchmarks; sensitive blanks, comfortable grips and durable guides, all for a retail price of $99.99.

Now, with the launch of the all new TP1X series, Lew’s has taken the original TP1 and stepped up the level even higher, while keeping the price point the same. Featuring a premium HM40 blank finished in a beautiful satin pearl finish, the TP1X now comes with Lew’s® exclusive skeletal reel seats in a matching pearlized finish. For comfort and performance, the rod is built with charcoal colored Winn® Dri-Tac split-grip handles, and stainless-steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts are anchored with matching charcoal colored guide wraps. Lew’s also includes the patented No Foul hook keeper for easy storage of lures.

The TP1X series will feature nine casting rods, five one-piece spinning rods and three two-piece models, all at an MSRP of $99.99

Lew’s pro staffer James Niggemeyer of Van, Tex. said that he is excited to put the TP1X to use. “Since I joined the Lew’s team, I have used a few models of the original series because they have met my needs,” said Niggemeyer. “I know what kind of quality to expect from Lew’s, and I’m looking forward to using them as I compete on the FLW Pro Circuit, and while guiding on Lake Fork.”
