Power fisherman Greg Hackney worked on his lineup of Lew's Signature Series Rods for over a year with Lew’s rod designer Bob Brown to have them perfected.

Greg Hackney partnered with Lew’s for the opportunity to develop an innovative rod series that is exactly what the everyday fisherman needs. Hackney specializes in power fishing: therefore, he developed the Flipping, Pitching and Frog rod for the Lew's Signature Series lineup. 

The 7’ 11” Flipping stick is perfect for heavy cover and flipping mats. Fishing around large fish and extremely heavy cover requires a powerful rod. 

The 7’ 6” Pitching rod is what Hackney calls a “plinking rod” for everyday boat docks and more scattered cover. This is even a great rod for throwing a swimbait or jig in deep water.  

The 7’ 3” Frog rod is perfect for fishing under cypress trees and skipping under boat docks. This rod has a soft tip and plenty backbone. Since it is a light rod, it can be comfortably fished with all day long.
